To set up the Kanister, hemp the black portion of the elbow with waxed hemp until it is a snug fit in the bottom of the blowpipe stock. Screw the Kanister onto the end of the hose and you are ready to go. After you are done playing, open the bag and let everything dry out. It is recommended that the tube is removed from the stock, as too much moisture on the hemp can cause cracks to form.

If you are playing a lot and finding moisture on your drone reeds, you can recharge the desiccant in the microwave. Empty the desiccant into a microwave safe dish and heat on high for 3-5 minutes, stirring the desiccant
midway through.* Remove and let cool. Return to Kanister and install in bagpipe. If you are recharging the desiccant frequently you may want to purchase a spare Kanister to use interchangeably.

* Keep in mind that European microwaves are more powerful than North American microwaves
