  This is my favorite reed in my McCallum practice chanter. Best sound, consistent blowing, not too honky loud, but not a wimpy reed.

  If you have to play these tunes on the pipes, then this will cover you. Some of the songs work out quite well, but some would be better served by singing instead.

  I tried these on my Gibson and my McCallum practice chanters. They do ok until they soak fill upwith the moisture, but then you're stuck with it wet. And it stays wet. You have to pull the reed to take it off, but then I've changed my tuning, so I finally gave up on them.
