  Great crisp sound , very bold , the fingering hole placement and size is exactly you want in a practice chanter. Matches your bagpipe chanter placement so easy transition to full pipes. The chanter its self is build great , very high quality. I would recommend this chanter to intermediate players and beyond , again because of its hole placement it would be to big for young beginners.
