This chanter has a rich tone and the hole placement mimics bagpipes perfectly. PC4 Chanter, May 15th, 2017 05:12 pm By: Mike Reid(Piper 4/5) Read my other reviews
I had never even picked up a chanter before purchasing this one. It's easy to handle and with a little practice for a true beginner like myself, you can get a very nice sounding tone. It takes practice and if you sound like a duck, keep trying. Just need more air. This is a perfect introduction to the world of bagpipes. You can trust McCallum. This is my back-up PC and I love the tone of it! I have the long size and it's better to imitate the size and hole spacing of your pipes chanter. Great PC, September 1st, 2010 11:52 am By: Andrew Stewart(Piper 4) Read my other reviews
