A must have for all pipers and especially beginners. This helps with tuning by covering the holes of the bottom hand to sound low A. The third hand covers holes that the B, C, and D fingers of the bottom hand usually cover.
Just tune your drones and remove it again to start to play

I find that I don't tend to use this very often. Has a "gee whiz" factor. It's fun to pull out when people haven't seen one before, and yes it does exactly what it's supposed to, but it seems like more trouble than it's worth and spends most of its time in my pipe case. This product is a decent option, but you should get use to tuning without it, especially when not only tuning on low A but high A as well. It's good when starting though. third hand, November 9th, 2008 09:49 am By: Ryan Ohare
This is a good tool for people who are still learning the basics of drone tuning. Works great. , October 5th, 2008 12:45 am By: Shawn Husk
This will make tuning your drones a breeze! This is an excellent training tool to help you learn to \"hear\" when your drones are in tune with your low A. Let\'s you have the chanter\'s low A sounding as you tune your drones so you can hear them lock in. Excellent and simple product. A+++
